Organic Acai Powder (freeze dried) is a super fruit with tremendous health benefits. Oprah calls it a Super Food! It contains an extremely high amount of dietary fiber and is rich in fatty acids. It contains high levels of the healthy monounsaturated fatty acid oleic acid, and omega 6. It has high levels of Vitamin A and calcium as well. Grown in the tropical Amazon regions of Brazil and Peru, Acai powder makes a wonderful supplement to add to smoothies and drinks. Due to the highly perishable nature of the raw fruit, Acai Berry is normally only found in powder form.
