Figs with a new twist!
Last summer I had a wonderful time visiting our fig grower and we are finally getting around to his suggestion to carry Mission Figs. They might be smaller than Calimyrna Figs, but they’re sweeter, and definitely worth a try for you fig lovers out there. Wonder why they’re called Mission Figs? You can thank Franciscan missionaries for introducing this variety of fig to California. Aha!
